MCPT LLC, since its establishment in 2009, has been actively operating in the wood processing industry refining wood waste from forest cleaning into exportable goods such as wood charcoal and barbecue briquette for domestic and foreign needs. Based on many years of research and experimental results and advanced technology, we now produce products that are of superior quality to that of international competitors’ and our wood charcoal products take up majority of domestic market. With the commencement of exports to East Asian countries in 2018, prospects for our company is ever growing.

Business History
In the framework of producing and exporting coal products from forest cleaning waste, the founders of the company conducted the following research and experimental activities:
Between 2010-2015, we worked hard experimenting easy and cheap methodologies and technologies to produce wood charcoal from all types of wood waste resulted from forest cleaning efforts. Because of our hard work,
- we have developed three model methods of production and filled three successful application, to patent these methods, with the Mongolian Intellectual property agency. As of May 2018, we are registered owners of three types of wood processing methods.
- The latest technological experiments of activated charcoal production was done in 2011-2018
- Research on domestic raw material resources was carried out by utilizing research reports and statistical data released from the Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism of Mongolia, Forest Research and Development Center and Mongolian University of Science and technology. In addition, research on potential raw material supply from Central Siberian logging firms was done including 56 companies in the Irkutsk region Russia between 2012-2015, pilot production and raw materials import was successful.
- In 2017-2018, export market research was done utilizing market research reports, EU, USA, China, South Korea, Japan and Australian export guidelines and manuals as well as United Nations reports.
Our products are replacing the majority of imprted charcoal briquette products in the market today. Our improved coal briquettes and refined briquettes are supplying the needs of the ger districts of Songinokhairkhan through the retail outlets.
Since the quality of our coal products meets the standards of East Asian and European countries, we have commenced exporting to East Asia since 2018.
Company introduction
Since its establishment in 2009, MSRT LLC has been working continually to fully refine and process wood waste products into wood charcoal for domestic and foreign needs. Our production is directly related to the implementation of the "Forest Cleaning" program approved by the Government Decree number 30, Mongolia's Green Development Policy and national policy on forests. All wood-waste produced by forest cleaning are processed by two stage refining method into exportable final products that will replace domestic import products. Our company work in close cooperation with the Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism's Forest Research and Development Center, forestry organizations and communities.
Our company’s production and sales activities are overseen by 6 members who has 12-16 years extensive experience and sound knowledge of eco-friendly, export-oriented forest waste processing industry.
MSRT LLC works in close cooperation with government corporations such as GIZ Germany, JICA and JETRO. Our company is member of following organizations:

Japan Charcoal Promotion Association,
- Business council of Mongolia-Japan,
- Japan External Trade Organization
- Mongolia-Germany Business Association,
- Mongolian union of patent fuel producers
